Vintage Guitar Case

Benn
You are so great! Yes, that is such a wonderful case. Benn, i will send you some pictures of my National Style O (# S 210). You are so kind trying to find such a case for me!! I am feeling like in a “guitar wonderland”. You hear me my very best friend.

Matthias

(Update) Hello Benn
Here are two photos. My National O Style fits perfect in your  wonderful case. I am a lucky devil indeed! I appreciate you as a very fine gentleman. You fulfill all my “guitar wishes”. I wish you all the best my friend. I keep an eye on you.

Best wishes,
Matthias

Note: Matthias is a wonderful customer, he’s purchased 2 Kalamazoo flat tops from me, a KG14 and KG11. He is an artist (painter) and plays American Country blues with his daughters and friends.

After his purchase of a second guitar from me, he sent me a wonderful portfolio of prints of his art work, stunning stuff and such a wonderful gift!

I surprised  him with my gift of this case in return. Play on Matthias!!

1934 Kalamazoo KG 11

This little girl sounds killer. “JS” is my favorite. Your luthier, Ross Teigen restored this Holy Grail in an excellent manner. It is a dream to pick this stellar guitar! I thank you once more my friend, Matthias

Now i have an other wish: Maybe you can organize for me an original case for my National O style from 1930 (# S 210). I don’t need it badly. My National O Style is in an new hard case. But in future i would like to put it in an old case in good condition. You know i am keen on these old cases. When i have enough money i will contact you again concerning an other fine little guitar. But i am happy with your two Kalamazoos. You are great!

All the best to you,
Matthias

The KG11 arrived yesterday.  Its in great condition and I’ll put it through its paces over the next couple of days.  I do find it hard to put the 00-18 down though!
Cheers

Eric – Madison WI

1933 Gibson L00

Benn,

Time to catch up and let you know how thankful I am for the L-00 you sold me several months ago. It is a true treasure of a guitar!!!!! I guess it is different for you but I find it hard that you could have packed up such an instrument and let it go out the door…But you see lots of great ones I assume.

Nonetheless, this one is blessed. It plays like a dream and channels Lightning Hopkins like nothing else. To sum up, when I was play for some friends recently and doing some slow Lightning blues she said, “girls keep your shirts on”. It’s the kind of guitar that oozes mojo…

Thanks so much for the joy you have put into my life and the many others who have listened to it.

Eric, M.D.

ca 1944 Gibson LG2 with Maple back & sides

Hey Benn
Good to hear from you.  Hope you are well.
I am really enjoying the LG2.  It’s a lovely contrast to the 00-18.  My two “little” guitars.  So different and both so lovely.
Take care
Paul
