ca 1936 Gibson – Kalamazoo KG14
Mid 1930s Gibson Kalamazoo KG14. Honestly the prettiest example we’ve ever found. Lightly polished and buffed on the top back and sides and it is beautiful! Totally original finish and verified under black light. This guitar is so clean there are hardly any noticeable scratches on it!
All original tuners, fire stripe pick guard and bridge. Recent neck set and set up by David Hatchard with action of 4/32″ at the E and 3/32″ at the e. Totally cool and did I say she is beautiful?
But make no mistake, this is no girly girl, she’s a naughty one and capable of those nasty blues de boyz like to play…. such the original survivor to the last fret and all cool! Based on the Gibson L-00, yet ladder braced.
A stunning depression era legendary finger style / slide blues picker just like Robert Johnson played.
Such an absolutely stunning burst on this one! When I photographed it under natural sunlight, the burst was so bright I almost needed sunglasses. Photos 3 and 4 do show its true natural color.
Vintage style plush green lined Silver Creek hard case.
