1936 Gibson Kalamazoo KG-14
***SOLD***
1936 Kalamazoo KG-14 this example is the best of the best. Based on the Gibson L-00, but ladder braced. Pro luthier cared for and set up for finger picking and slide work. Absolutely no funny business what-so-ever. No re finish.
Pure original Vintage joy! Has typical wear on the original finish, stunning crazing on the top. Back of neck honestly worn. Some ancient repaired hairlines.
Notice how stunning the variegated rosewood fret board is with both dark and light grain figuring and may I say the gorgeous and rarely seen angled lower bout “V” seam are both typically wacky depression era Gibson!
A fabulous sounding KG-14!
