Oh my are we pleased to offer this special guitar formerly owned, played on stage and recorded with by renowned finger style country blues picker, Roy Book Binder.
This guitar is all original sans the X bracing during Roy’s ownership and Roy’s original pick up installation configured of a top mounted transducer inside with a stereo microphone coupled with a Fishman Blender.
Smooth functioning original Kluson tuners keep this stage ready guitar tuned as you would expect of a professionals instrument.
This guitar is well cared for and a stunning example with only minor previous repairs, all non noticeable and masterfully executed. The set up is original to Roy as well, with action set a bit on the high side like most accomplished blues finger pickers prefer, giving this guitar a thunderous bass response with nice clear trebles.
The provenance is firmly established because it’s well known Roy played this guitar on stage and recorded with it during the late 90s to the early 2000s at venues such as Merle Fest and taken on an Australian tour as well, as seen by the stickers on the case.
In June 2002 this guitar was sold by Roy to a New Hampshire player collector at Jorma Kaukonen’s Fur Peace Ranch guitar camp as evidenced by the pictured Bill Of Sale.
