1954 Martin 00-18. All there and all original, never re finished and absolutely no funny business. The sound of this guitar is surprising compared to others we’ve played from this era; extensive play has opened her well and given her an over-all wonderful round tone. A better sounding example than many 50s 000-18s we’ve played. The honest pick rash south of the pick guard is proof she’s been “loved” but no top or back cracks or seams showing.

There are some shallow fretboard divots in the first positions but no need for any filling at this time. Never abused but a few small hairlines on the sides, all pro repaired with hot hide glue. All work including professional set up and perfect neck set by David Hatchard.

Action set at 3-2 with proper string break over the superb new bone saddle. Clean original bridge plate. 1 11/16th nut with a comfortable non chunky neck.

Truly a sweet sounding player. Nice fitting TKL OO hard case.
