1936 Gibson Kalamazoo KG14

***SOLD***
Mid 1930’s Kalamazoo KG14 Another stunning legendary finger style / slide blues picker based on the Gibson L-00. Recent neck set and re fret. All Pro set up. Stunningly crazed with that sought after ladder braced Gibson-Kalamazoo sound blues pickers go for.

This is about as good as it gets for a KG14, it has a nicely executed repaired small hairline crack from the sound hole at 11:00 o-clock to the fretboard, hardly noticeable. This is common on Kalamazoo’s. No body cracks, just some old smooth capo scars on back of neck, honest mojo as they say.

The over all finish is very clean with that depression era Gibson crazing. Vintage purple lined faux Alligator Geib chipboard case, most likely original and in good condition. (Perhaps was under Grandpa’s bed for the past 70 years?) Cool as-found case candy includes original Gibson Cowboy rope strap (yes, back in the day they came with these), a Hawaiian style nut riser and slide for lap top play plus a brown glass bottle slide.

See it played…
