1935 Gibson L-00
1935 Gibson L-00. 40 years under the bed, an absolutely stunning all-original Totally crack free example with some minor dings and old scratches but no refin or funny business. Nice small-medium burst. Never seen or circulated on the net until now. Impeccable neck set and set up by David Hatchard, one of New England’s most skilled luthiers.
Action set at 3-2 with proper string break across the new bone saddle. 1 3/4″ measured at the new ebony nut. Truly a fine sounding well set up guitar for the accomplished player or professional musician. Crystal-clear sound with dry ringing sustain all the way up the fretboard, bright mid range yet without a hint of shrillness or metal in the sound, ideal for single-note finger picking leads. Explosive tone with cannon-like snap that rings out across the room.
After a good cleaning, we buffed the top because we thought she was such an oh so deserving sweet little girl indeed!
New hard case included, either tweed vintage style or black TKL, your choice.
