1973 Guild® F-20 Shade Top

Also known as the Troubadour, this guitar has that signature small bodied vintage Guild® tone. Bright, warm and resonant. Sounds great and fun to play.

Vintage Guild® guitars, like many pre-owned guitars, are seeing renewed interest because they seem to be aging so well. But we still continue to be amazed that these fine crafted F-20 guitars have not soared to higher values and continue to remain such bargains on the vintage market (IF you can find a nice clean example like this) …Solid spruce top, cool ribbon mahogany back and sides and nicely figured Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and bridge and still sporting it’s original Guild® individual tuners. Serial number 89031. Some minor scratches and dings that give character but otherwise a very nice looking crack free gem. A new F-20 Standard is MSRP $2,499.

00 Orchestra size body is 13 3/4″ x 18″ x 4 1/4″ deep,  25 3/4″ scale, 20 frets, 1 5/8″ nut with a comfortable shallow oval carve to the neck. Recent neck reset and set up by Ross Teigen of Naples Florida.

Action set at proper 3/32 E and 2/32 e with perfect intonation.

Enjoy the videos by Richard Bastar III of Fort Myers Florida.
