1936 Gibson Kalamazoo KG-14

Mid 1930s Gibson Kalamazoo KG14.

All original with no funny business and one of the prettiest examples we’ve ever found. Yes that is a fine piece of variegated Brazilian Rosewood for the bridge and totally original. Gibson used what they had in the depression and we love it!

Great looking crack free seemingly seamless top as well with the drop dead gorgeous Gibson crazing in the sunburst. Very clean Brazilian fretboard with great frets.

Set up with 4-3 action from a recent professional neck set by David Hatchard with proper string break across the new bone saddle, this one has exceptional  sound characteristics and is perfect for those finger style country blues. Original tuners and ebony nut and only a few tight well repaired hairlines on the back and a few minor scratches, but over all an extremely clean example and one of the finest I’ve ever offered.

Comes with your choice of well fitting hard cases, either vintage tweed style or black TKL style.
This is a fine sounding guitar for finger style country blues. Watch the videos and see the new owner (in Switzerland) Me and the Devil Blues!
