1930 Model 55 Dobro

An absolute stunning survivor! Manufactured in Los Angeles California . Headstock stamped serial number 1741 with “Patent Pend.” stamped on the Fan Motif cover plate. 12 fret bound unfinished Red Bean wood fret board with the identical round neck as a 1930s National Style O.

Totally original right down to the engraved Fleur-de-lis tuners. Professionally set up for Spanish play by Gruhn Guitars, Nashville. Totally crack free body with its original walnut finish fully intact.

This guitar is a veteran Nashville studio player with very cool provenance. Previously owned by a prominent Nashville family of music execs and studio players and was recently loaned to Nashville  guitarist Jason “Rowdy” Cope who played it on the Oak Ridge Boys recent come back album “The Boys are Back”.
